About the artist

I felt a connection to art at an early age. It has just been in the past five years I truly let myself get immersed into painting. I started with watercolors and my love of animals was my subject matter for the first several years.

I feel extremely fortunate to share my love of art with others.  I am ecstatic when one of my art pieces finds just the right home and completes a design vision or when I can create a personal piece that matches your color palette.  It has been a pleasure to be given the opportunity to capture the joy and life of our furry best friends in my watercolor artwork.  I have also felt tremendously humbled when I have been asked to capture the memory of a loving pet in my art.

My recent enjoyment has been oil and acrylics on canvas.  I love rich and vibrant colors equally as well as pensive colors reflecting my deeper thoughts. I have stretched my traditional detail focus to allow the complimentary and contrasting colors speak for themselves in my abstract pieces.
